“Anna believes yoga is a lifelong conversation with the Self — a practice of presence, breath and quiet devotion carried into every corner of ordinary life.”

For Anna Chhugani, yoga has been a lifelong journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth—one that unfolded naturally through life's experiences.
Her journey began at the age of sixteen, when her mother encouraged her to practice yoga to help regulate irregular menstrual cycles. What started as a simple solution for a physical concern quietly planted the seed for a lifelong relationship with yoga and holistic well-being.
As life progressed, the demands of education, career, and personal responsibilities gradually drew her away from regular practice. Yet the pressures of professional life eventually led her back to yoga in search of greater mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deeper connection with herself.
In 2014, Anna began her formal studies at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune. Through disciplined practice and classical teachings, she discovered that yoga extends far beyond physical postures—it is a path of self-awareness, resilience, and transformation. Her passion for learning led her to study with diverse teachers and traditions before completing her Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh.
Anna also spent eight years teaching prenatal yoga, supporting women through pregnancy. This experience deepened her appreciation for yoga as a compassionate and adaptable practice, helping women navigate one of life's most transformative journeys with confidence and care.
In 2023, Anna faced one of her greatest personal challenges when an injury, initially diagnosed as a slipped disc, was later identified as piriformis syndrome. Her rehabilitation inspired a deeper study of therapeutic yoga, strengthening her understanding of how mindful movement, breath, and awareness can support healing and recovery.
Today, Anna's teaching blends traditional yogic wisdom with a thoughtful therapeutic approach. She creates a welcoming and supportive environment where students of all backgrounds can build strength, improve mobility, cultivate inner balance, and reconnect with themselves. Whether guiding beginners or experienced practitioners, her intention is to help each student discover the transformative potential of yoga. Anna believes yoga is not about perfection, but about meeting yourself where you are and allowing transformation to unfold—one breath at a time.
