A ten-day immersion into the classical path

Once learned, it becomes a complete discipline that practitioners can take home and continue independently, continually deepening their understanding of yoga from the inside out.

10-Day Immersive Program

Once learned, it becomes a complete discipline that practitioners can take home and continue independently, continually deepening their understanding of yoga from the inside out.

Students practising together in the yoga studio

The Samyama Primary Series is a carefully designed progressive practice that systematically develops every essential aspect of yoga.

Across ten days, practitioners are guided through intelligent sequencing that explores standing postures, forward folds, twists, backbends, arm balances, inversions, and seated postures — creating harmony between strength, flexibility, stability, breath, and awareness.

The Arc

The Learning Journey

The curriculum gradually develops students through stages of internalization. Advanced postures are broken into accessible stages, allowing practitioners of different levels to progress safely.

  1. 01

    Stage 1 — Foundation

Body awareness, feet and grounding, pelvic stability, alignment, formation, and direction of movement.

  2. 02

    Stage 2 — Stability & Rhythm

Breath awareness, rhythmic movement, structural integrity, and coordination.

  3. 03

Stage 3 — Strength with Softness

Intelligent effort, ease in movement, drishti (focused gaze), and breath synchronization.

  4. 04

    Stage 4 — Deeper Energetics

Pranic awareness, internal observation, and breath refinement.

  5. 05

    Stage 5 — Personal Observation

Students begin observing physical habits, breathing patterns, mental reactions, and energetic changes.

  6. 06

    Stage 6 — Guided Adjustments

Hands-on adjustments help practitioners develop confidence, precision, and independence.

  7. 07

    Stage 7 — Refinement

Practices become subtler as students refine alignment, breathing, transitions, and awareness.

  8. 08

    Stage 8 — Independent Practice

Students begin practicing with reduced guidance while maintaining structure, awareness, and confidence.

  9. 09

    Stage 9 — Integrated Practice

Students combine all previous learning into a complete personal practice.

  10. 10

    Stage 10 — Primary Series

The complete Primary Series is practiced as an integrated whole.
