The Arc

Retreat structure

The daily rhythm honours the traditional ashram schedule—rising early, practising in silence, and closing the day with community and reflection.

  1. 01

    Sunrise Sādhana

Practice begins before dawn with chanting, prāṇāyāma and a full āsana session as the light returns to the world.

  2. 02

    Ayurvedic Nourishment

Three sattvic meals daily, prepared with local produce and designed to support cleansing and steady energy through the day.

  3. 03

    Philosophy in Nature

Late-morning study sessions—Patañjali, the Upaniṣads and living wisdom—held outdoors whenever the weather allows.

  4. 04

    Silence & Solitude

Structured periods of mauna (noble silence) with time for journaling, walking, and quiet integration.

  5. 05

    Evening Prāṇāyāma & Meditation

A slower session by lamplight—breath ratios, chanting, and a long guided meditation to close the day.

  6. 06

    Seva & Community

Small acts of service woven into the schedule—cooking, cleaning, tending the space—as an essential part of the practice.

What sets this apart

The Samyama difference

Practice the Sutras Through Experience

Yoga philosophy is lived on the mat, not merely studied.

Internalization Before Complexity

Awareness develops before advanced postures.

A Science of Progressive Sequencing

Every class builds systematically on the previous one.

Breath as the Foundation of Movement

Every transition originates from conscious breathing.

Precision Through Individual Guidance

Personal observation and adjustments refine every practitioner.

From Student to Independent Practitioner

The course is designed to make you self-reliant, not teacher-dependent.
